UIA Project To Create Over 15,000 Jobs

The Uganda Investment Authority has gazetted 10 acres within the Kampala Industrial Business Park at Namanve for the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The $8.9 million approximately sh32 billion five year project is bankrolled by the Chinese government. The initiative seeks to house over 1000 SMEs units under one roof and create over 15000 jobs once complete. More in this report.
