On the 28th of September 2016, Alfred Olango a Ugandan refugee was gunned down by the police in Elcajon in San Diego California. In what was described as murder in cold blood by the family members, his sister Lucy Olango watched as his brother was shot four times by the men in Uniform.
The police on the other hand revealed that the shoot was justified as self defense. The case has been a contentious one for over a year as the family continues to demand justice.
But was the shooting of Alfred Olango really justified?
NBS’s Solomon Serwanjja teamed up with VOA’s paul Ndiho to reopen the closed file as they reveal new evidence into the death of Alfred Olango in NBS investigates.
