European Union Maintains Ban on Uganda's Vegetable Exports

Uganda’s hot pepper is now under quarantine in the European Union and subject to 100 percent check after the country’s failure to meet the set standards. The ministry of agriculture, fisheries and animal husbandry has now imposed a fresh self-ban on vegetables to avoid losing the European Union market for other products.
