GAVI Approves US$85M for Typhoid Vaccine

In a bid to curb Typhoid Fever, the World Health Organization has prequalified a vaccine for Typhoid that will be administered to children from 6 months and adults mostly in low developing countries that have faced a wrath of the disease. Speaking to NBS TV, Dr Andrew Bakainaga the country Advisor immunization vaccines and emergencies World Health Organization revealed that the approval follows years of immense research on the vaccine and its efficacy.
