Bank of Uganda Reduces Bank Rate to 9% from 9.5%

Bank of Uganda has reduced its Bank Rate CBR) despite signs of a recovering economy. The rate has been fixed at 9% down from 9.5% in a move aimed at encouraging commercial banks to increase lending.
