Kabafunzaki Trial Resumes

The Trial of suspended labor minister Herbert Kabafunzaki resumed at the anti-corruption court with key witness Muhammad Hamid pinning Kabafunzaki of soliciting a five million shilling bribe from him. He said the money was in exchange of the minister’s promise to clear his name of sexual harassment allegations. Muhammad also tendered in court exhibits including notes of money amounting to five million shillings, audio and visual recordings.
