As the planting season draws closer, farmers have been warned against buying farm inputs especially seeds and fertilizers from uncertified agro input dealers to avoid cases of ending up with counterfeits. Stakeholders in the seed sector admit that fighting dealers in counterfeits has become a big challenge, which is not about to be solved, but if farmers shun them, then they are likely to reduce in the market.
