Low Prices Affecting Coffee Production


The call for coffee farmers to come together inform of associations is on with the state minister for Agriculture Christopher Kibazanga, insisting that this is the only way these farmers will collectively bargain for higher prices. To Kibazanga, a number of coffee farmers are complaining a lot about the low prices tagged to their coffee beans, something that has affected the country’s coffee output as many would-be coffee farmers shun the activity deeming it unprofitable.
