Thousands of Settlers Face Eviction in Gulu

Decades after the LRA insurgency, not much has changed in some parts of the affected areas in the northern district of Gulu. Hundreds still live in crowded Internally Displaced Persons camps, which has heightened the risk of diseases due to poor sanitation and increased the crime rate. Now the District Authority in Gulu has given settlers an ultimatum of 3 months to vacate.
