NETPIL to Resume Torture Cases Against Kale Kayihura

He is out of office and now must pay the price for the crimes he committed while he served as Inspector General of police. The network of public interest lawyers that spearheaded the prosecution of Gen. Kale Kayihura that culminated into the siege at Makindye court have vowed to resurrect the case. They say Kayihura’s influence frustrated the case and his exit now provides opportunity for him to stand in the dock.
