Kampala residents especially those living in the low land suburbs are spending sleepless nights, with many not certain whether their next morning or evening would flood. Concerned urban planners want fellow planners suspected to have approved structures standing on water catchment areas investigated and if found guilty, be arrested and prosecuted for going against their work ethics. The urban planners say it’s time to also punish officials who approved illegal structures in the city center, and in the suburbs to serve as example to other urban planners still at large.
