Balalo Eviction Not Tribal – Gulu LC5 Mapendunzi

As the deadline for the pastoralists to leave northern Uganda draws closer, the Gulu district Chairperson Ojara Martin Mapenduzi has warned those who are still hesitant to leave, they risk forceful eviction. The nomadic herdsmen were given a March 15th deadline to evacuate the region following a Presidential directive issued in October last year.
