MPs Accuse Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sabiiti of Commanding Attack on Parliament

A section of legislators have vowed to block the appointment of Brigadier Sabiiti Muzee as the deputy Inspector General of Police arguing that he was the commander behind the attack on members of Parliament during the debate on the controversial constitutional amendment bill 2017. According to these legislators, appointing Brigadier Sabiiti a serving UPDF officer is a clear sign of the fight against the opposition as well as a sign of weakness within the police.
