West Nile War Victims Receive Five Billion Shillings in Compesation

A war can come and go but its scars remain to heal for years, this is what has happened to west Nile region after the 1986-1989 liberation war that left many crippled physically, financially and socially. For years they have cried out to the Government for compensation with no response from the authorities. The equal opportunities commission on Friday however ruled government must compensate them with sh5 billion. More in this report.
