The Uganda People’s Defense Forces have defended the forceful eviction of residents living in Apaa and Zoka forest. According to UPDF 4th division commander Brig. Emmanuel Kanyesigye the people occupying Apaa land are criminals who are cutting down trees. Brigadier Kanyesigye says the UPDF is only enforcing the ministry of local government’s pronouncement on the boundary between Adjumani and Amuru. Benson Ongomreports
