Uganda, Market for Fake Products

The international police have impounded a range fake global brands of products worth billions of shillings imported into Uganda. In partnership with Uganda registration bureau under operation “Fagiya” , the products were picked up from shops and other boarders points. Among the impounded products are petroleum, food and clinical medicines. But the anti-counterfeit network is attributing this to a lack of enforcement of laws on the side of police and Uganda revenue authority.
