Sign Interpreters a Must for Television Stations – UCC

UCC has warned that they are going to withdraw licenses of all television stations that are not compliant with the law that requires them to have sign interpreters during news bulletins and other important programs of national interest. This was during a dialogue between UCC and Uganda National Association of the deaf where UNAD expressed challenges they face identifying access to information as the major problem.
