NIRA ED Obitire Handed to Police CID

The Parliamentary defense committee has directed police CID attached to parliament to investigate the executive director National Identification Regulatory Authority, NIRA Judith Obitire Ogama over allegations of torture of employees and abuse of office. The call for investigations comes barely two days after the chairperson of the board Peter Kasenene tendered in his resignation with the board secretary and director legal Affairs Edin Ediona following suit.
