NOTU Contests Government Salary Structure

The National Organization of Trade Unions has drafted a salary projection scale for all government workers that they want implemented starting with the 2019/20 financial Year. The projection is in response to a recent government decision to pay scientists more than humanities scholars. NOTU terms this a discriminatory move that will impact on the service sector. NOTU wants the government workers at the lowest rank to earn one million shillings.
