Uganda and DRC Agree on Cross Border Trade

Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have agreed to simplify cross-border trade and customs cooperation. This comes after the Ugandan and Congolese trade ministers signed a memorandum of understanding that allows a simplified trade regime.As Sampaul Nakhaima reports, all goods valued at less than USD 2000 will be tax-free and all non-tariff barriers will be eliminated.
