Acholi Leaders Warn Investors Over Land

The sudden rush for land in Acholi region continues to worry residents, with the Acholi Paramount Chief Rwot Achana urging investors to use the right channels. The Acholi chief told the commander Operation Wealth creation General Salim Saleh that the reason most investors are finding it difficult was simply because they want to use politicians, some of who are not from the region. This as they toured over 10,000 acres of land that was given to Atiak Sugar factory in Amuru district.
