COPA Schools Tournament

The national finals of the copa coca cola schools’ football championships are on in Mbarara. The regional winners from the various parts of the country like St. Marys Kitende who won in wakiso, Old Kampala who topped Kampala among others received first received trophies and other awards from the organisers before action kicked off at Kakyeeka stadium this afternoon. Mbarara high eased to a 3-0 win against Panyango from Pakwach.Yesterday defending champions Jinja SS obliterated Nebbi’sBoshopNeggri 7-2 to cement their intent of defending this year’s title. The battles will go on in Kakyeeka for two weeks to decide the champion of the prestigious schools title.
