Kadaga Demands Audit of Bank of Uganda

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga insists that there should an independent audit into the management and operations of Bank of Uganda. Kadaga cites questionable takeover of commercial Banks which need to be investigated. In an interview with NBS Television, Kadaga expressed concern over the absence of audit reports on Bank of Uganda for the last 17 years. This comes after the Bank reported a loss of 457 billion shillings. Canary Mugume reports.
