Nadusi Bridge connecting Mbale -Tirinyi road has collapsed leaving hundreds of motorists stranded. Those travelling to Mbale or from Mbale have been diverted to Palisa via Budaka and then Kibuku to Tirinyi for light vehicles or Tororo route for heavy trucks. According to the locals, the incident happened around 10 am last night after floods caused by heavy rains swept away the bridge, leaving a big depression in between making accessibility difficult.
