Improving Agriculture: Ministry to Focus on Improving Soil Fertility

The ministry of Agriculture, Animal industry and Fisheries has launched the National land degradation neutrality campaign, which aims to restore the fast degrading soil fertility. The campaign will see strategic budgetary allocations towards easy access to irrigation for farmers, farming equipment and inputs as well as free advisory and research services to farmers.
