Martyrs Day Celebrations: President Museveni Applauds Catholics

In a rare show of modesty President Yoweri Museveni apologized to the catholic faithful for his late arrival for the Martyr’s day prayers at the shrine. Addressing tens of thousands the president explained that the catholic shrine is normally his first port of call because because they quickly embraced the pilgrimage when government declared 3rd June a public holiday. This year he chose to grace the Protestant celebrations first.
