Uganda’s health sector has been limping for years. And as a result many lives have been lost since many have no access to quality and affordable medical care. In most rural government health facilities, health attendants are either not present or drugs are out of stock. But there is hope for locals in Butaleja, after World Vision in partnership with Korea International Operation Agency, built fully equipped maternity wards, trained midwives and village health teams in the districts to improve the health situation
