City Lawyers have warned Parliament against passing the new controversial Excise duty amendment bill on mobile money that is before the finance committee for scrutiny vowing to seek court redress to nullify the tax once passed. Appearing before the committee that is chaired by Henry Musasizi, the city lawyers led by Fred Muwema, argue that passing the mobile money tax would be in contravention of the constitution since there is no law regulating their operation.
