NRM Responds to Arua By-Election Loss

The ruling NRM has attributed its loss in Arua Municipality by-elections to the violence caused by the opposition camps before and during polls. The party secretary general Justine Kasule Lumumba insists her reign has registered some success but is willing relinquish her post if party chairman is not satisfied with her leadership. NRM flag bearer Nusura Tiperu ranked second in the race that saw seasoned politicians Kassiano Wadri make a return to parliament.
