Uganda Markets Flooded with Substandard Products, UNBS Blames Shortage in Human resource

The Ugandan market is still flooded with substandard products. A report from the Uganda national bureau of standards indicates that 54% of both imported and domestically produced products are substandard as of 2017 . The Ben Manyindo Executive Director UNBS attributes the failure to limited human resource to check the system. The bureau has only 290 workers.
