UMEME Upgrades Masaka Sub Stations

Power Distribution Company UMEME has pledged to end load shedding and power loss in Western Uganda after upgrading the Masaka West Power sub stations. UMEME has as well installed smart meters in government institutions and automatic feeders in their substations. The prolonged power outages in the region havein the past months affected small and large-scale manufacturers, hospitals and universities.
