UBOS: High Cost of Inputs Hit Construction Sector

The increasing cost of inputs used in the manufacture of construction materials is believed to have hit the construction sector in the year ending July 2018 compared to the same time in 2017. A July report released by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics show that prices for construction materials have continued to increase.
