The United Nations General Assembly has adopted the agenda for the 73rdSession, which is the blue print of the business to be conducted for the next 12 months. Among the key the priorities up for debate is the request by African Union member states for the general assembly to vote on their request to seek legal interpretation from the International Court of Justice on whether a sitting head of state can be indicted by the international criminal court. Uganda’s permanent representative Ambassador Adonia Ayebare moved the request for the motion to be added to the agenda, following his appointment by the African Union to head this project.
