Just a day after Mugisha Muntu announced he was quitting FDC, debate shifts to the likely consequences of his exit especially on whether this might affect the party’s status quo even before the next parliament in terms of numbers. With reports that 2020 could see the bulk of FDC mps cross the floor and deny the party the position of official opposition, leader of the opposition Betty Aol Ocan says it is sheer pretense to say that the exit of Muntu does not hurt the party.
