Government Ignores Citizens’ Rights In Oil Rich Regions

Research findings by the civil society coalition on oil and gas have put government in the spot light for neither consulting nor involving oil and gas host communities when it comes to making decisions that impact them. According to James Muhindo the lead researcher, the indifference of government has left distaste among project affected persons which is a recipe for animosity.
