Catherine Bamugemereire Suggests Maternity Leave Extension

The Uganda Women’s forum wants maternity leave doubled from three to six months. Justice Catherine Bamugemereire tabled the proposal at the meeting of different women in leadership organized by parliament. As part of the conversation women were also encouraged to spearhead the fight against corruption in their respective spheres of influence.
