Kakira Walking Out Of Business ?

Proprietors of Uganda’s oldest Sugar factory Kakira Sugar Limited have asked government to expedite the Sugar Policy if they are to remain in business. According to the managing director of Kakira Sugar Mayur Madhvani, without legislation to regulate the sugar industry, his factory has seriously been threatened by other players.This he said during the launch of Kakira Sugar Busoga Foundation where the speaker of Parliament officiated as Chief guest.
