COSASE Summons BOU Governor

The Parliamentary committee on Commissions, State Authorities and State Enterprises has summoned the Bank of Uganda Governor Emmanuel Mutebile, his Deputy Loius Kasekende as well as the board to appear before the committee over the alleged irregularities in the closure of commercial banks. The Committee chairperson Abdu Katuntu together with his deputy Anita Among told Journalists at parliament that their interface with the Bank of Uganda officials will only be limited to the queries raised in the Auditor General’s report.
