In slum communities like Naguru Kikubamutwe, Kamwokya and Makindye, a haircut is an essential for school going children. But in a community where access to the basic necessities of life is a hustle, many children are sent home from school until they can have clean-shaven hair. Rapper St-Nelly Sade and a team of beat-boxers have found a way around it, spending their weekends, not on music stages, but rather with a machine in town giving free haircuts and beat boxing lessons to the young ones.
