Investigations into the Naama Land Evictions in Mukono District

The commission of inquiry onto land matters is continuing investigations into the Naama land evictions in Mukono districts, where dozens of families lost houses and property.The commission has today interrogated Munalwa Fredrick, the police officer at the center of the violent evictions. The commission has established that not only did the officer orchestrate violent evictions on the orders of Dick Banoba then, but has retired and is officially working for the man accused of grabbing land.
