Bank of Uganda Disappoints Parliamentary Committee Members

Officials from the Bank of Uganda led by the Governor Emmanuel Mutebile was dismissed from the Parliamentary committee on Commissions, State Authorities and State Enterprises for appearing without supporting documents on the closure of banks. Mutebile together with his deputy Luis Kasekende had appeared before a committee chaired by Abdu Katuntu and his deputy Anita Among that is investigating the alleged illegal closure of seven commercial banks.
