19 confirmed dead in Buyende and Kamuli districts after a heavy downpour.

In Buyende and Kamuli districts, 19 people have been confirmed dead and many more left homeless after a heavy downpour characterised with strong winds on Monday night, 22 April 2019.

State Minister for Relief and Disaster Preparedness, Musa Francis Ecweru, visited the affected areas and promised 200 bags of posh, 100 bags of beans and other relief materials.
