Bobi Wine’s Home Sealed Off By Police

It was a tense scene this afternoon in Magere with heavy police presence as its Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi’s area of Residence.

The musician turned politician was denied from leaving his residence as he had originally planned to go to the Police Head Quarters. Bobi Wine had planned to petition the IGP on matters concerning his blocked concert which was scheduled during the previous weekend. Sources claimed Bobi Wine had planned a protest and thus the police presence despite no official charges being filed.

The police was not the only presence there as his supporters gathered around and helped him evade arrest when the police attempted to which gave him a chance to gain sanctuary in his home. Former Presidential candidate Elton Mabirizi was also at the scene condemning the police actions and referring to them as cowards. he went on to call upon the people to rise and kick out dictatorship.
