Lawyer Mabirizi Petitions Supreme Court Over Conflict Of Interest

Following last Thursday’s verdict where a majority vote upheld the Constitutional court ruling that kept the constitutional amendment act that removed the Presidential Age limit, city lawyer Male Mabirizi has refused to concede defeat.

Male Mabirizi filed an application challenging the integrity of Chief Justice Bart Katureebe, Justice Arach Amoko and Justice Tumwesigye to the supreme court. He stated that their judgment should be deferred claiming the individuals were close to Museveni which placed them in a conflict of interest.
