According to the minister of the education placement committee, 270,649 students have been admitted to S.5 and primary teachers colleges.

The chairperson placement committee, Kule Baritazaze, revealed that about 50,000 students have not been successful enough and therefore not placed anywhere.

“It is not that those who are left, are those who failed. There are learners who may be having good grades but have not been selected because of poor decision making,” said chairperson placement committee.
