Bobi Wine OTT Demonstration Court Hearing Adjourned

Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon Robert Kyagulanyi returned to Buganda road court for the start of their trial. As prosecution was ready with their first witness, defence lawyers led by Anthony Wameli asked the court to hold the hearing of the matter to allow for a conclusion of a matter filed by the constitutional court.

The lawyers demand an interpretation of whether charging their clients with crimes that the particular section under Penal Code and Public Order Management act does not contravene with liberties to assembly provided for in the constitution.

State represented by Ivan Kyazze was not ready to respond to the defence’s demands prompting grade 1 magistrate Doreen Kalunji to adjourn the matter until 24th March 2020.
