9 Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Uganda

The Ministry of Health has confirmed eight new cases. This brings the number of infected people to nine. These traveled back from Dubai aboard the Emirates and Ethiopian Airways.

The Minister of Health Jane Ruth Aceng said that out of the 35 samples that were tested, eight were positive for COVID19. She added that six of these were intercepted at the airport with signs of fever and the two were got from their self-isolation.

The first COVID19 case-patient is said to be stable at Entebbe Grade B Hospital. All nine cases are people who traveled from Dubai as initially, Dubai was not part of the Category One countries that are high risk.
