Gen Tumukunde Slapped With Treason Charges

A search is currently ongoing by a team of Joint security operatives led by CID director Grace Akullo at the home of the embattled presidential aspirant Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde.

The Uganda police came out this morning to reveal the reasons why the former security minister has been slapped with treason charges saying that Tumukunde made treasonous utterances.

Gen Tumukunde is said to be facing these charges due to the statements and remarks he has so far made to the press since he declared his intentions to run for president.
