President Museveni Warns Against Hiked Prices

President Museveni has referred to those that are increasing their prices as crooks. He has pointed out that anybody found hiking prices will lose their license to do business in Uganda.

The president hinted on sending spies into the markets and shopping centers to act as buyers. The spies will make an arrest of any businesses that are selling their products at a hiked price and cease their business licenses.

“There are crooks hiking prices of food. I will send spies if they find you hiking prices, I will withdraw your license,” said President Museveni.
