Gulu Hospital Out Of Beds For COVID-19 Patients

Gulu Regional Referral Hospital has run out hospital beds in the isolation room for the COVID-19 patients. The earlier plan had been for the hospital to admit 10 patients. However, the facility has been outnumbered with four more patients who have been reported to be missing beds.

The four positive cases were got from Elegu border point and have since been referred to Lira Regional Referral Hospital. The district chairman, Ojara Martin Mapenduzi says the Ministry of Health was informed about the new development and hopes the capacity is improved because the district is close to the border.
